Why
Paul R. Shanley, former Archdiocese of Boston parish and “street” priest, who sexually abused dozens of children, teenagers, and adults during a many-decades reign of terror, has been deemed “fit” for release on Friday, July 28, 2017, from the Massachusetts Old Colony Correctional Facility in Bridgewater, MA after serving 12 years of a 15 year sentence. Paul Shanley, 86 years of age, will be monitored for 10 years by the Massachusetts Probation Department, but he will not be required to wear an ankle bracelet. Since he will not be electronically monitored, it is believed that he will continue to pose a threat to the public. Demonstrators will be present as Paul Shanley is driven away from the Old Colony Correctional Facility and they will remind Paul Shanley that his victims, their families, advocates, and concerned citizens will be especially vigilant in warning the citizenry about the danger posed by him, especially to male and female children, teenagers, the disabled, and vulnerable adults.
