A newly ordained Roman Catholic priest is accused of groping a teen girl, calling her “sexy,” as he touched her, authorities say.
New Jersey reverend Marcin Nurek was arrested by Boonton police on August 3 and charged last week with criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, the Morris County Prosecutor’s office said.
The pervy priest is accused of putting his hand under the skirt and touching the buttocks of a girl who is between 13 and 16.
Boonton police said the girl was walking along Main Street with friends last Thursday when Nurek put his hand under her dress and told her she was pretty, according to ABC7 New York.
Cops said the 37-year-old priest also told the girl she was “sexy.”
Nurek was immediately placed on administrative leave by the Patterson Diocese, according to spokesperson Richard Sokerka.
