The pastor of a Middletown church has been accused of collecting images of children being sexually abused.
Claud Talbert “Tab” Greenlee II, 56, was charged on Wednesday in Madison Circuit Court 3 with three counts of child exploitation, a Level 4 felony carrying up to 12 years in prison.
Greenlee, who has been a pastor at Tri-County Christian Church in Middletown, also faces three other felony charges alleging he possessed images of child sexual abuse.
Greenlee — previously listed at a Middletown address but most recently a resident of Anderson — was also employed as a teacher and baseball coach at Anderson’s Liberty Christian School. Officials at the school issued a statement in recent days reflecting that Greenlee, who had earlier been put on administrative leave from his teaching job, no longer works at the school.

According to court documents, police on July 10 received a tip about sexual images of children being shared on an online app and eventually linked that activity to Greenlee.
When being questioned by investigators on July 25, the teacher and pastor reportedly admitted looking up “child erotica” online. A search of his cellphone allegedly resulted in discovery of several images showing “prepubescent” children — some believed to be younger than 3 years old — being victimized.
Greenlee, arrested Wednesday, was released from the Madison County Jail after posting a $25,000 bond. Search warrants were reportedly served at his home and at Liberty Christian School.
