A Northern Virginia pastor who traveled widely to preach is now accused of sending explicit images to a teenager he met at church in Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania State Police said Kenneth Baldwin, an Alexandria resident and pastor at Crossroads Baptist Church in Bailey’s Crossroads, gave a sermon at a church in Pennsylvania in November 2024 and exchanged phone numbers with a boy who was 15 at the time.

Investigators said Baldwin later began sending sexually explicit images of himself multiple times a week for about a year, then sent several more pictures in recent weeks.
Pennsylvania State Police questioned Baldwin and said he admitted exposing himself to the victim on three separate occasions in three separate states. Authorities also said Baldwin admitted sending nude images of himself to the boy.
“In a world where there’s so much dishonesty, the church is supposed to be the place where the most honest is at. And, something like this is just, it’s repulsive is what it is,” said Evangelist D.R. Harrison, who met Baldwin years ago through ministry work.
“Kenny, you know, is not just the preacher that preaches to 10 people in a small country church in the South. Kenny Baldwin’s all over America. Probably, a lot of the world,” Harrison said. “It’s heartbreaking. It’s crushing all the teenagers that looked up to him.”
“The last person I thought would be tied up in something like this,” Harrison added.
Police believe Baldwin shared explicit images with other children and are asking any other victims to contact authorities.

“I just pray they have the courage to stand up and speak up,” Harrison told 7News. “And I’m proud of the victim for telling the truth.”
Crossroads Baptist Church released a statement on the charges.
