An 87-year-old Texarkana man is facing a charge of Sexual Assault of a Child following an investigation by the Texarkana Texas Police Department.
According to TTPD Facebook page, Louie George was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Bi-State Jail.

Because the case involves allegations of child sexual assault and remains an active investigation, police say they are limited in the amount of information they can release publicly at this time.
Investigators say George has served as a pastor at a local Texarkana church for many years and was serving in that role during the 1990s when the reported victim was a child attending the church.
Since the investigation began, Texarkana Texas Police detectives say they have identified at least two additional victims. Due to George’s long history with the church, investigators are concerned there may be others who have not yet come forward.
Police are asking anyone with information that could help the investigation to contact authorities. Anyone who believes they may have been a victim or who has information related to the case is encouraged to contact Detective Tabitha Smith at (903) 798-3116.
George remains in custody at the Bi-State Jail as the investigation continues.
