Fr. William McCarthy
From Ireland. Monsignor. Accused in 2002 of sexually abusing two girls, ages 6 and 8, between 1981-1983. McCarthy denied all allegations. He was placed on leave in 2003 and retired. The Diocese was given permission by the Vatican to hold a church trial. Reportedly in 5/01/2008, McCarthy was exonerated cleared to return to active status with full privileges.
