Accused in legal documents filed in the Santa Fe Archdiocese’s bankruptcy proceedings filed in 5/2019 of sexually abusing a boy, ages 14-15, in 1987-1988. The abuse allegedly occurred at a hotel in Albuquerque NM while the two were attending a Catholic Youth Conference, and during a trip to two mission churches in Jemez Pueblo and Zuni Pueblo. “Br. Jim” was at the time a counselor at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Westminster CO, where the boy was a student, and was involved in youth ministry at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Lakewood CO. Frank left the Franciscans in 1989. He is said to have been arrested in 12/1996 for child sexual abuse in Broomfield, and was again arrested when out on bond after another victim surfaced. Frank died 12/18/1997 at age 37, reportedly by suicide, at a campground in Park County CO.
