Also known as Br. Odillon. Professed first vows in 1959 and final vows in 1965 in Woonsocket RI. Taught in Woonsocket at Mount St. Charles Academy and at Sacred Heart Juniorate in Pascoag RI, and at schools in MA and VT.  Did missionary work in the 1960s and 1980s in Zambia, Central Africa. Placed on leave from Bishop Guertin High School in Concord NY in 1/2002 due to allegations of sexual abuse, including rape, of students occurring in the 1970s. One former student said that another religious brother walked in on abuse as it was happening but did nothing. Sued in 4/2002 for sexual abuse in 1973-1974 at Bishop Guertin; Argencourt was a teacher and activities director. He said that in 1978 he disclosed the abuse to counselors in Hudson NH and in NM. A second suit was filed at a later date. Authorities in RI were preparing to file criminal charges for abuse of a boy at Mount Saint Charles Academy in 1985 and 1986 when Argencourt died in 9/2002. One case settled in 11/2003.
