Fr. Edward George Authier
Name surfaced publicly as accused 5/29/19. His accuser was a 67-year-old man who also alleged abuse as a boy by Bishop Weldon, and by Rev. Clarence Forand at St. Anne’s in Chicopee. The allegations were deemed credible by the Diocesan Review Board in 9/18. Authier died in 1970. Included on the diocese’s list 6/2/21 of credibly accused, for abuse of a minor alleged to have occurred in 1960.
