Deacon Patricio William Batuyong
Ordained a deacon in 1983 for the Archdiocese of Chicago. Had been working temporarily in the Archdiocese of Atlanta for about a year when he was arrested in 4/1993 in IL on charges of criminal sexual abuse and solicitation for juvenile prostitution in 1991. His alleged victim was a 15-year-old relative. Extradited to IL where he posted bond before returning to Georgia. Laicized in 4/1996. Died in 4/2009. Added to the Chicago archdiocesan list of clergy with substantiated allegations on 11/28/2018. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General’s Report.
