Ordained for the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament Fathers in Cleveland OH. Did much missionary work. Joined the Manchester diocese in 1970. Was working in Albuquerque NM when accused in 1993 of sexually abusing two boys at St. Charles parish; one boy was abused ages 9-12 from 1966-1970, the other abused at age 8 during 1966-1967.  Bombardier admitted the abuse to the first boy’s mother after she confronted him. Admitted in 1993 to fondling a boy Manchester in 1975. Admitted to a short-term relationship with a male in the Philippines. First listed as retired in the 1986 Directory. Died 9/16/2000. Included on the Santa Fe archdiocese’s list 9/12/2017. Lawsuits in Albuquerque by two men in 1/2018 claim abuse as boys by Bombardier. Accused of the sexual abuse 1966-1968 of an altar boy, age 12-13.  Some of the incidents occurred while the priest was teaching the boy to swim and during an overnight in a cabin in the Sandia Mountains. A proof of claims form related to the Santa Fe archdiocese’s bankruptcy details accusations that Bombadier sexually abused a boy ages 10-13, from 1954-1957. Another claims abuse 1967-1970 of an altar boy, ages 12-15. Bombadier’s name was included on the Manchester diocese’s list 7/31/2019.
