Fr. Denis G. Bouchard
Pastor of Queen of the Holy Rosary in Vienna. Member of the traditionalist Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter. Placed on leave in 11/2018 after a man reported to the Diocese 9/2026 that Bouchard sexually abused him as a boy, ages 9-11. A previous allegation was revealed soon after the first became known, by a person unwilling to cooperate with investigators. Bouchard filed a libel suit against his accuser, his accuser’s mother and the Diocese in 9/2019. The Diocese announced on 7/1/2024 that Bouchard’s order found no sufficient evidence in the case and that he would be reinstated.

Our Database of Publicly Accused does not state or imply that individuals facing allegations are guilty of a crime or liable for civil claims. The reports contained in the database are merely allegations. The U.S. legal system presumes that a person accused of or charged with a crime is innocent until proven guilty. Similarly, individuals who may be defendants in civil actions are presumed not to be liable for such claims unless a plaintiff proves otherwise. Admissions of guilt or liability are not typically a part of civil or private settlements. For more information, see our posting policy.
