Fr. William J. Fletcher
Died in 4/1988. In 7/2006 a woman filed suit, alleging Fletcher abused her at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque parish in Shelton in the early 1960s, beginning when she was age 7. The Diocese said that there were no other allegations against him. Settlement(s). Per a 2019 report commissioned by the Diocese, the abuse occurred in 1964 and involved digital penetration under the girl’s dress at school.
