Worked in the dioceses of Springfield, Chicago and Joliet IL, then St. Paul MN 1948-1959. Returned to Chicago after removal from ministry in 1960 by St. Paul. Transferred to Nashville TN; pastored parish there 1960-1974. Died 5/21/1974. A man reported abuse as a boy to the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis in 2007. No specific date was given for the abuse, but correspondence implies his history was known in 2007. Name included on the 2/17/2014 revised list of those with substantiated claims. At least one complaint in Nashville in about 2009 alleged abuse in the late 1960s. Included on the Nashville diocese’s list 11/4/2021. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General’s Report. Included on the Franciscans’ Our Lady of Guadalupe’s list as of 1/2024.
