Removed from ministry in 1992. Sued in 10/2002. Accused of abuse of boy at Mary Queen of Heaven parish in Elmhurst and at St. Francis of Assisi in Bolingbrook. Suit dismissed in 2004 on statute of limitations. Included on the diocese’s list of credibly accused in 4/2006. Another suit filed in early 2006; dismissed in 11/2006 on statute of limitations with option to refile amended complaint. Named in new suit filed 5/15/2013. Diocese agreed to release of personnel files 3/2013 as part of settlement in Rudofski v Joliet & Bennett. Files released 4/30/2014. Named as 1 of 5 priests in a $4.137 million settlement in 4/2015. Laicized in 2011. Died in 2020. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General’s Report, which notes 12 “reported survivors.”
