Fr. Timothy J. Gorton

Removed from ahis ssignment at Precious Blood Parish in Woonsocket in 4/2012 after an allegation of misconduct, occurring about 30 years previously. His nephew alleged in 1/2012 that Gorton sexually abused him when he was age 12 in 1983. Per the Diocese, Gorton retired without privileges for health reasons, and due to the Review Board’s findings that the allegations were credible. He died 6/18/2021.
