Fr. Timothy J. Gorton
Removed from assignment at Precious Blood Parish in Woonsocket 4/12 after allegation of misconduct about 30 years previously. His nephew came forward in 1/12 to allege abuse at age 12 by Gorton in 1983. Per diocese, Gorton retired without privileges for health reasons, and due to the Review Board’s findings that the allegations were credible.
