Fr. Joseph A. Graaff
Assigned in Waterville, Chelan, East Wenatchee and Leavenworth 1958-1979. Lawsuit filed in 3/2010 alleged Graaff abused a girl, ages 9-11, in 1972-1974, while he was assigned to St. Joseph’s in Waterville. He died in 1990. The suit was dismissed 2/6/2013 after the Diocese argued there was “insufficient evidence to allow the claim to go to trial.” On the Diocese’s list 7/9/2019, which notes a small settlement in lieu of appeal.
