From Ireland, attended seminary in St. Paul MN. Ordained for the Diocese of Davenport. Shown on the Davenport diocese’s Creditors Committee website in 2007 as having credible allegations against him. Name also appears on diocese’s list of credibly accused in 7/2008. Alleged to have abused three minor males beginning in the 1940s. Died in 1951 at age 44, his body found in the Mississippi River. Reportedly had been on leave of absence from the Diocese of Davenport for six years, working in other dioceses. His last assignment was at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
