Sr. Alvin Marie Hagan

Accused in a 9/2019 lawsuit, along with Msgr. Raymond Hebert, Srs. Martin Marie, Gertrude Marie (Sr. Alvin Marie’s twin), and lay worker Charlie Earhart, of physically and sexually abusing a boy over 10 years, beginning in 1965, at Madonna Manor, a home for “troubled” children. She had also been named with Earhart and the other nuns in suits settled for $5.2M in 2009. Per the 9/2019 suit, Sr. Alvin Marie fondled him in the shower, when drying him off. She died 10/10/2007. Accused in a 3/2022 lawsuit, along with Fr. Sean L. Rooney SDB, of abuse of a teenage boy at Hope Haven in the 1970s.
