Sr. Alvin Marie Hagan
Accused in a 9/19 lawsuit, along with Msgr. Raymond Hebert, Srs. Martin Marie, Gertrude Marie (Sr. Alvin Marie’s twin), and lay worker Charlie Earhart, of physically and sexually abusing a boy over 10-years, beginning in 1965, at Madonna Manor, a home for “troubled” children. She had also been named with Earhart and the other nuns in suits settled for $5.2M in 2009. Per the 9/19 suit, Sr. Alvin Marie fondled him in the shower, when drying him off. She died 10/10/07. Accused in a 3/22, along with Fr. Sean L. Rooney SDB, of abuse of a boy in his teens at Hope Haven in the 1970s.
