Placed on leave 2/07 after allegation that he sexually abused a former student at St. Albert School. Law enforcement officials notified. Hobt began working at the school in 1995. In 4/07, diocese reported that the allegations were credible and that Hobt had begun the process to voluntarily ask the Vatican to be laicized. Laicized 2007. On diocese’s list 4/4/19.
