Fr. Dennis W. Kemp
Placed on leave in 7/2007 from St. Monica’s on Mercer Island after allegations of inappropriate conduct with a 12-year-old boy. The incidents allegedly took place over about 6 months. No criminal charges filed. The Archdiocese concluded its own investigation and and recommendation to the Vatican. In 2/2010 the Vatican announced Kemp’s permanent removal from active ministry. On the Archdiocese’s list 1/15/2016 of clergy and religious with admitted, established or credible allegations against them of child sexual abuse. Status is ‘permanent prayer and penance.’
