Personnel file released in 1/04. Church spokesman said Kirchmeyer and two other priests were allowed to remain in service because the allegations were either anonymous or withdrawn. A subsequent news release from the Archdiocese said that Kirchmeyer had retired and been granted senior priest/retired status as of 2/27/04. Died 2/26/08 in FL. Included on the archdiocese’s 8/11 list.
