Fr. James H. Lane
Chaplain for the Boston Police Department for 30 years, starting in 1972. Died in 7/07. Accused of abuse of an altar boy at St. Paul’s in Dorchester 1966-67; settlement of claim by archdiocese was announced in 4/12. Previously known as a whistleblower regarding allegations against other priests. Died before allegations could be investigated. Included on the archdiocese’s list in 2018.
