Accused in a civil suit filed in 2/2008 of sexually abusing a 10-year-old boy at St. Vincent’s in Kansas City in 1968. Left the priesthood in 1969 to marry. Living in FL at the time of the lawsuit. Denied the allegations. The claim settled in 8/2008 as part of a $10M settlement involving 12 priests. Name included on the Kansas CIty-St. Joseph diocese’s list 9/5/2019.
