Br. Modesto Leon
Accused of abuse of a boy, ages of 14-16 in 1996-99, per civil suit filed 2008. Archdiocesan report said abuse occurred 1995-96. Leon was the incorporating executive director of Soledad Enrichment Action (SEA). Abuse allegedly took place during retreats at Camp Unity in the Angeles National Forest. Civil case settled at some point between 2006 and 2010. Per the Los Angeles archdiocese’s list in 12/21, Leon left his order.
