Fr. Alfred C. Longley

.On list of priests with credible allegations of abuse of minors released by the St Paul and Minneapolis archdiocese 12/5/13. Parish priest. Military chaplain 1942-52. Permanently removed from ministry in 1968. Died in 1974. Included in the Memphis diocese’s report 2/28/20. It notes that St. Paul and Minneapolis reported that Longley was at Christian Brothers College 1965-66 in TN, but neither the Nashville diocese nor the Christian Brothers have a record that he served in West TN. Per the 1965 Official Catholic Directory, Longley was on duty outside the diocese, at Christian Brothers College. Included in 11/21 on the Diocese of Nashville’s list.
