Accused in a 2/26/04 suit of sexually abusing altar boys at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Manhattan. Three plaintiffs alleged abuse 1955-61, beginning at ages 11, 10, and 13, with one claiming more 200 incidents over five years. Martin also had a disciplinary role at parish grammar school. Suit claims other altar boys were abused, too. Martin died in 1983. On archdiocese’s list 4/26/19. Claims against Martin eligible for the IRCP.
