Deacon James A. Martone
Ordained as permanent deacon in 1983. Placed on leave in 2004 after allegations he abused a child beginning in 1991 and continuing for several years. Also placed on leave from his job as business manager of a third parish, pending results of the investigation. Diocese announced in 5/05 that the review board found the allegations to be credible. Permanently removed from ministry. Included on the diocese’s list of credibly accused. Died in 2021.
