Fr. Daniel McCarthy
Retired. Pastor emeritus of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity when suspended in 10/2020 due an allegation that he sexually abused a child while assigned to Angel Guardian Orphanage 1967-1974. In 6/2021 Cardinal Cupich announced that, per the Archdiocesan Review Board, there was “insufficient reason to suspect” McCarthy was guilty, and that McCarthy would be reinstated.
