Accused of abuse of a minor in 1963, per archdiocesan report. Claims in a civil suit of abuse at Junipero Serra High School in Gardena when he was an instructor. Dispensed from Perpetual vows 4/11/70. Working in HI at the time. Married, raised a family, continued as an educator. Died 6/13/13. Personnel files released by Order in 7/13 do not actually specify child abuse, but they do admit that celibacy had always been an issue for him. Included in 11/21 on the Marianists list of “members found to have sexually abused a minor.”
