Fr. James P. McIntyre
Diocesan Director of Priest Personnel. Monsignor. Sued in a 1994 RICO lawsuit which alleged that he, Dennis Rigney and Francis Flemming abused minors on several occasions at St. Pius X Parish. Two brothers went to the diocese in 1994 to complain of abuse as boys 1963-1968; they were rebuffed by Bishop McHugh. McIntyre was a seminary student at time of the alleged abuse. Another suit was dismissed in 1/2003 based on credibility of the plaintiff. McIntyre died in 8/2004. All RICO claims settled in 3/2003.
