Named as accused in the PA Grand Jury report released 8/14/18. Priest of the Archdiocese of New York, living and working as chaplain in the summer of 2014 at the Elysburg PA Monastery. The Mother of the Monastery informed the Harrisburg diocese that she had found out that McLucas had sexually abused a 14-year-old girl and had a sexual “relationship” with her into her adulthood. The NY archdiocese received a report of the abuse in 2012. The Harrisburg diocese revoked McLucas’s faculties. Per the NY archdiocese upon release of its list 4/26/19, “the victim stated in a court filing that she was not a minor when the sexual activity occurred.”
