Fr. Galeb Mokarzel
Named publicly as credibly accused by the San Antonio archdiocese on its list 1/31/19. Also on the San Angelo diocese’s list 2/13/19. Accused of abuse of a teenage boy at St. Ann’s in Midland in the 1960s. Allegedly “molested, kissed and fondled” the boy over a ten-year period, beginning when the boy was a student at St. Anthony High School Seminary in San Antonio. Mokarzel allegedly stalked and “finally sexually assaulted him.” Removed from ministry by his Order. Retired without ministry in 1997. Living under supervision in 2019 at an Oblate’s retirement facility in San Antonio.
