Fr. John Francis O’Brien
Parish priest and pastor, diocesan CYO director, Young Catholic Adults director, dean, coordinator of deaneries, Priests’ Council secretary, diocesan Pastoral Council member. Died in 1/2003. Accused in a 6/2009 civil suit of abusing one anonymous plaintiff in the early 1960s. The Diocese said there had been no previous complaints. Personnel file was to be released in 11/2009. New lawsuit filed in 6/2010 alleges abuse in the 1960s.
