Fr. William J. O’Malley
Worked at McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester 1966-1986, and Fordham Prep in the Bronx 1986-2012. Appeared in the 1973 film, “The Exorcist.” Accused in a lawsuit filed in 8/2019 under the NY Child Victims Act of sexually assaulting a McQuaid student multiple times in 1985-1986. In 2019 he was living at Fordham University’s Murray-Weigel Hall. Two other former students accused O’Malley in subsequent lawsuits. One was filed in 7/2020, claiming abuse in 1975 or 1976. Per the Fordham University newspaper in 12/2020, O’Malley was removed from Murray-Weigel after he was accused. He died 7/15/2023 in Massachusetts, age 91.
