Fr. Victorian Ostmeyer
In 2010 a woman reported to the Franciscans’ Province of St. John the Baptist that Ostmeyer molested her as a child, beginning when she was in third grade at St. Mary’s Parish School in Bloomington IL, and continuing for about four years. Ostmeyer died 9/11/1970. Included on the Franciscans’ list as the subject of substantiated allegations. Included in 2/1022 on the Cincinnati archdiocese’s list. Added to the Peoria diocese’s list in 6/2022. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General’s Report.
