Fr. Paul Palmitessa

Palmitessa’s name appears on a list of priests with credible allegations of the sexual abuse of minors released by the Minneapolis & St. Paul archdiocese 12/5/2013, where he worked 1956-1982. He moved to the San Diego diocese 1982, incardinated in 1988. He retired in 1998 and was on limited duty until 2012. In 2013 he was no longer in ministry and was living in the San Diego area. The Archdiocese of St. Paul &. Minneapolis learned of allegations against Palmitessa in 1990 and told the Diocese of San Diego. He was sent for evaluation and counseling, and was restricted him from being with boys and young men.
