Professed vows as a Marianist in 1963. New York Province. Worked in Fl and Puerto Rico. Per news in 3/2002 a man said that at age 15 he was drugged and raped by Parlangeli on an overnight camping trip. Parlangeli said he was too tired to camp and rented a hotel room. The drugs caused convulsions; Parlangeli had to take the youth to hospital ER. Police notifed; he was arrested. Charges later reduced to administering drugs illegally. Spent a brief time in jail. Transferred to Baltimore where he also abused. A 1994 civil suit settled. Left the order in 1973, married and raised three children. Moved to CA. Died in 1997. Included on the Order’s 6/24/2020 list of accused.
