Fr. Jerome Pilon
Placed on leave in 1/2009 after allegations of sexual misconduct with a minor dating back about 12 years, occurring outside of the diocese. Pilon denied the allegations. He was assigned to St. Anthony’s in Hoopeston 1992-1998; Diocese said the victim was not associated with the parish. On diocese’s list in 12/2018. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General’s Report, which notes 6 “reported survivors” of abuse, occurring 1997-2003 in TX and MI.
