Fr. Robert Povish
One of 21 priests placed on administrative leave by the Philadelphia Archdiocese on 3/7/2011, pending the investigation of credible allegations involving sexual abuse or inappropriate behavior with minors. Povish’s last assignment was as a chaplain (state employed) to inmates at the Graterford Prison in Skippack and in residence at St. Eleanor Rectory in Collegeville. The Archdiocese announced on 5/4/2012 that the investigation found that he violated standards of ministry and was unsuitable for ministry.
