Fr. Raymond C. Provost
Named publicly as credibly accused by the Diocese on its list 8/22/2019. It notes that Provost retired for health reasons 11/28/1975, and continued some parish work until about 1995. He died 8/13/1998. Allegation received in 2005. In 5/2025 a man stated at a hearing as part of the Diocese’s bankruptcy case that when he was at a church camp at age 6, Provost invited him to the rectory for lunch and within a few days the priest raped him.
