Fr. James Edward Richardson
Placed on leave in 6/2009 after an allegation by an anonymous plaintiff in a newly filed civil suit. The plaintiff said he was abused by Richardson on two occasions in the 1960s. Richardson denied all allegations. Had worked since 1982 as a drug and alcohol counselor. In 1989 he was assigned to the Center for Pastoral Care. Part-time chaplain of St. Edmond’s Academy. Faculties restored by the Diocese 11/19/2009 after its investigation could not find credible evidence. Died 2/14/2014.
