Resigned from his parish in 3/1995 after a lawsuit was filed alleging he abused a 19-year-old seminarian after plying him with alcohol more than 20 years previously. Sent for treatment of alcoholism. Allowed to work under certain restrictions until 2002 when he was permanently removed. Name included on the Santa Fe archdiocese’s 9/12/2017 list of those accused of child sexual abuse.
