Entered the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) after high school in 1938. Entered the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance (Trappists) as “Fr. Ignatius” in RI in 1946. Made solemn vows 1948, ordained in 1950. Became a priest of the Archdiocese of NY in 1973. Retired in 1995. Died in 2005. Named publicly as accused by the Archdiocese on its list 4/26/2019. Claims against Sullivan were eligible for the IRCP.
