Bishop Austin Bernard Vaughan
Named NY auxiliary bishop in 1977. Accused in a lawsuit filed in 11/2019, along with Rev. Donald Whelan, of sexually abusing a boy 1974-1984, while both men were assigned to St. Patrick’s in Newburgh. Vaughn died 6/25/2000.
