Weaver was a spiritual adviser to Bishop Guilfoyle. First allegation received in 1966. No action. Promoted and transferred. Arrested in 1985 and 1986, charged with sex crimes. Convicted; placed on probation. Abused at least six boys. Named in 1994 RICO lawsuit. Permanently suspended. All RICO claims settled 3/2003. Died 5/21/2011. On diocese’s list 2/13/2019. Accused in a lawsuit filed in 12/2019 of abuse of a boy, ages 8-13, in 1974-1978.
