Fr. William F.J. White
Accused by 11 men of abuse as teens 1961-93. Suspended in 1993. Diocese had complaints in 1979. More complaints in 1987 when family reported he tried to molest two brothers the night of their father’s wake. Included on 3/20/18 diocesan list. Died in 2016. Lawsuit filed 8/19 claims White raped two brothers and forced the boys to rape each other. The abuse allegedly began in 1982, when the boys were under age 11, and went on for almost 10 years. Allegedly plied the boys with alcohol and drugs and paid them to keep quiet. The family attended Annunciation parish in Black Rock. By 8/21 White was named in lawsuits by 15 plaintiffs filed under the NY Child Victims Act.
