Accusations of abuse reported to church in the 1970s-1980s. Retired 1991. Several suits. Some claims in Davenport’s 2004 settlement. One mediated to $180K settlement. Ordered by bishop to Vianney Renewal center in 2002; left 2004, refused to return. Laicized in 5/2006. Suit by 12 more plaintiffs filed 5/2006. Included on the Davenport diocese’s list of credibly accused in 7/2008, which notes allegations of abuse of 29 boys. Also worked in the Jackson MS diocese. Died in 9/2006. On the Jackson diocese’s list 3/19/2019.
